Massive manhunt for 8 cash-in-transit heist suspects

LIMPOPO – According to Provincial Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the incident occured along the the Nkowankowa and Tarrentaal road in Tzaneen while the security company was transporting an undisclosed amount of money.

“A sedan without number plates forced the security vehicle off the road and started to shoot at it. The robbed the cash and the security guards’ cell phones,” said Ngoepe.

There were no fatalities or injuries in the incident, he added.
