Drug dealers arrested in city

Drugs to the value of R35 000 were confiscated

POLOKWANE – Three suspected drug dealers were arrested in Ivy Park late Wednesday afternoon.

The three Nigerian nationals, aged 24, 25 and 39, were arrested during a joint operation between members of the SAPS from different units.

Westenburg Police Spokesperson, Const Maphure Segobola confirmed that the three men had been arrested and would be appearing in the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Friday. “During the arrest the police confiscated drugs, including nyaope, CAT and half moon rock to the value of R35 000, cellphones and R3200 in cash,” she said.

It is unknown whether the three men are in the country illegally or not.
