Capricorn FM sets pace with new logo

As part of the radio station's constant growth and keeping up with the latest trends, Capricorn FM decided to give their logo a face-lift to suit the station's dynamic feel.

POLOKWANE – The station launched its new logo during a ceremony at the station on Friday and the event was attended by government officials, businesses and several of their loyal listeners.

According to Station Founder, Andile Khumalo, the logo face-lift is something that has been in the works for quite some time and they are excited about the final product.

“We opened the station in 2007 and now we decided to rebrand our logo.

“People thought there was no future for radio stations in Limpopo but now, almost nine years down the line, we have proved them wrong. We thank all our listeners and other stakeholders for helping us be so successful and those who helped us make the launch of our new logo such a resounding success,” Khumalo said.

The station Marketing Manager, Ntsieni Ramabulana, said Capricorn FM’s core listeners reside in LSM 5-7 within the 25-35 age bracket. He further said: “Capricorn FM embarked on an exercise of tweaking its music and content to be in line with our listeners’ expectations. To complete this exercise, the station decided to revamp our logo to keep up with the fast paced and trendy revolution”.

Ramabulana added that Capricorn FM’s shows are aimed at not only informing, educating and entertaining listeners but also drives a social cohesion within the greater Limpopo region, whereby diversified cultures and values find one voice.

The radio station rebranded its logo but remains firm in being an endearing and friendly radio station that is always readily accessible, relevant, and a source of entertainment and news for everyone in Limpopo.
