LIMPOPO – A 44 -year-old man arrested for the repeated rape of his two stepdaughters will appear in the Lenyenye Magistrate’s Court on Monday say the police.
This crime took place at a village in the Maake Policing area outside Tzaneen.
It is alleged that the suspect has been raping the two girls, aged 8 and 11 years, everyday after they come home from school. This has been going on since April this year until someone reported it last week said Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“He was doing this while their mother was at work, immediately as they come home from school, he would rape each sibling and then threaten to kill them if they informed anyone.”
Saps Tzaneen FCS followed up on a tip off from community members and arrested him at the Tzaneen taxi rank on Friday evening he added.
The suspect faces charges of rape as well as resisting arrest.”He resisted arrested when SAPS members cornered him at the taxi rank,” concluded Ngoepe.
