Dubbed the ‘Happiest 5K on the Planet’, the event saw about 4 000 people run or walk the 5km route with coloured powder raining down on them.

Craig McLennan from the Color Run National Coordinating Committee said they were pleased with the turnout at this year’s event. “Next year we plan on making it even bigger and better and bringing new elements to accommodate all the runners,” he said.
