LIMPOPO – Police are searching for five suspects, four men and one woman, in connection with the armed robbery of a 43-year-old victim along the Albasini road near Watervaal, Louis Trichardt on Friday afternoon.
“It is alleged that the suspects driving a white Jetta stopped the victim along the gravel road and pulled him off the road at gunpoint and robbed him of of R7000 cash, a jacket and cell phone yesterday,” said police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
The Jetta, with the registration DKJ027L, used during the robbery was reportedly hijacked in Thohyandou some day back adds Ngoepe.
