Moosa kidnapping case postponed again

The case of Anisah Moosa’s kidnapping has been postponed to 9 September.

POLOKWANE –  Moosa was kidnapped in March.

The three suspects, Samuel Kubo (28), Masilo Gafane (33) and Benny Mudau (34) appeared in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court today (Friday).

They face charges of hijacking and the attempted murder of three police officers who were shot during Moosa’s rescue operation.

Two of the three kidnappers also face other charges.

Gafane was recently re-arrested on a charge of theft by false pretense, and released on R1 000 bail by the Tzaneen Magistrate’s Court.

Gafane, along with Kobo were arrested on 24 May on a charge of armed robbery and granted R5 000 bail each by the Sekhukhune Magistrate’s Court.
