Family restaurant robbed in Tzaneen

Police are investigating a case of business robbery following an armed robbery at a restaurant in the Tzaneen Mall last night (Sunday).

LIMPOPO – According to reports the incident happened at around 22:00 last night (Sunday). Two armed suspects confronted the shopkeeper and ordered him to open the safe, police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba said.

“The suspects also locked several personnel in the toilet,” he added.

An undisclosed amount of money, a cellphone and laptop were taken during the robbery. No arrests have been made as yet and police investigations continue.

“The police appeal to anyone who can shed light on this incident to contact their nearest police station.” concludes Ledwaba.
