LIMPOPO – “The group of community members from Tafelkop in Majakaneng section allegedly attacked the two men after accusing them of theft,” says provincial police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The one man, Vusi Seage (30) from Majakaneng section was killed outright and the second man in his twenties was rescued from the mob by members of the police.”
He was taken to hospital to be treated for multiple serious injuries adds Ngoepe.
No arrests have been made and police investigations continue. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact their nearest police station he concludes.
Members of the community are once more warned to refrain from taking the law into their own hands.
