POLOKWANE – Dylan Posselt is a local 13-year-old boy with strong vocal chords and a talent for singing.
He entered the world of music at an early age and has performed on stages around the province, including the Polokwane Relay for Life stage. He is a dedicated learner at Curro Heuwelkruin where he sings in the school choir.
The choir is set to perform in Europe toward the end of October and in order to make the trip, Dylan needed to collect R45 000 to cover his travel fees and accommodation costs. His father requested businesses and individuals to assist in this regard and is happy to announce they collected enough funds to enable Dylan to travel to Europe.
“I just want to thank everyone who made a donation. People from Polokwane, Pretoria, Cape town and even as far as England made a contribution. We are going on a 10-day tour, visiting Italy, Austria and Germany where we will perform in cathedrals. This will be the first time I travel overseas and I am grateful to everyone who had a hand in making my dream come true,” Dylan said.
