POLOKWANE – An unknown man was left for dead after parts of his private parts were removed in Disteneng earlier this morning (Friday).
The man was found by a passer-by in a bushed area between Disteneng and Vermikuliet Street with only a T-shirt on.
According to a resident from Disteneng who was at the scene when Review arrived, the passer-by who found the man was on his way home from work when he found the man lying in a pool of his own blood.
“The man was still alive when the passerby found him. He was still breathing but not moving and had lost a lot of blood. The passer-by called the police for help, but by the time they arrived, the man had died,” the resident explained.
Const Maphure Manamela, a Westenburg Police Spokesperson, confirmed the incident saying: “Our forensic team is still at the scene. We will have more details once their investigation is complete.”
