Two ‘nyaope boys’ arrested in Mokopane

Police encouraged communities to work closely with police to eradicate crime and bring drug lords to book.

POLOKWANE – Two suspects aged 32 have been arrested in Mokopane, Hospital View on Monday, after they were found with 212 small packs of nyaope.

According to Mahwelereng Police Spokesperson, Const Sello Leso, the estimated value of the drugs R6 632. According to Leso, one packet of nyaope costs R30. The two are charged with possession of prohibited substances and will appear before the Mokerong Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).

Leso encouraged communities to work closely with police to eradicate crime and bring drug lords to book.
