Shop employees, customers tied up during robbery

The Police in Thabazimbi outside Bela Bela are on a manhunt for two unknown armed suspects who robbed the John Graic shop in Thaba Mall on Tuesday.

LIMPOPO – It is alleged that a 24-year-old employee of the shop, along with two of his colleagues and two customers were in the shop when two unknown men entered the shop; one of them produced a handgun and proceeded to tie up the victims with shoe laces.

They instructed the 24-year-old man to open the safe. The suspects made off with cell phones, sneakers, waist belts and an undisclosed amount of money. No shots were fired and none of the victims sustained any injuries.

Police investigations are continuing.
