A worker discovered the bodies of Marius Horn (50) and Hans Fourie (27) on a small holding outside Mokopane on 31 October.
MOKOPANE – The community is in shock after the bodies of Marius Horn (50) and Hans Fourie (27) were discovered on a small holding outside Mokopane on Monday morning.
According to Provincial Police Spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto: “The bodies of the deceased were discovered in a bedroom by a worker who reported for duty. Both men had bullet wounds to their head and the firearm a 9 mm pistol, which was allegedly used during the shooting, was found on the scene.”
Otto further said: “There was no sign of forced entrance into the house. The possibility that one of the men shot the other before shooting himself is still under investigation.”
Funeral services for Marius will be held this afternoon at 14:00 the Volle Evangelie Kerk in Bezuidenhoutstraat. The funeral arrangements for Hans have not been finalised and will be announced at a later stage.
