Murder accused doctor awaits bail hearing

The Thohoyandou doctor who allegedly killed his 25-year-old girlfriend remains behind bars

LIMPOPO -25-year-old Ndivhuwo Mudau, a Medical  Doctor at Tshilizini Hospital outside Thohoyandou, appeared before court yesterday (Thursday) and the case was remanded to 11 November where the accused will apply for bail.

Mudau is facing a charge of murder will remain in custody said Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

The medical doctor handed himself over to the police on 14 October after being on the run from authorities since the discovery of his Refilwe Makoma Masinamela’s body on 7 October.
Masinamela body was had multiple stab wounds.  The motive of the murder is still unknown but domestic violence has not been ruled out.
