SAPS Search and Rescue recover bodies in Lim river’s

The Police Search and Rescue Team recovered several bodies, three drowning victims and one a victim of an alleged armed robbery, earlier today (Sunday), says the police.

LIMPOPO – A woman and two men who were traveling in a van crashed into the Levubu River yesterday (Saturday). All occupants drowned and their bodies were recovered earlier today, according to Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

“In Giyani, the body of Tebogo Ngonyama (19), an alleged victim of an armed robbery, was recovered today from the Ritavi river after the robbery was reported at Giyani police station,” said Mojapelo.

“As rains persist in some parts of our province, we call on our people to exercise caution when crossing rivers and only cross at relevant places when it is safe to do so,” he concluded.
