LIMPOPO – The man allegedly demanded R300 from the complainant to secure a job at the company. They complainant reported the matter to the Hawks, said Hawks Spokesperson, Capt Matimba Maluleke.
The suspect was arrested soon after receiving a bribe, he added.
He appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of corruption and the case was postponed to 28 June to allow for further investigation. He is currently out on R1 500 bail.
The Hawks urge those who paid a bribe to a security company in order to secure employment to contact W/O Sadiki 071 481 2450 or report at the nearest police station.
