POLOKWANE – According to Sumari de Ridder, General Manager of Mall of the North, two men entered the mall and robbed a jewellery store.
“Security were alerted to the situation, reacted swiftly and gave chase, however the suspects fled to a waiting vehicle and sped away.”
No one was hurt during this incident, confirmed De Ridder.
She added that photographs of the suspects have been provided to the police and mall security are working closely with the police investigation.
“We are giving our full support to the police’s efforts to identify, trace and arrest the suspects.”
