In a statement released by the municipality, it states that it received a notification from Lepelle Northern Water that the Olifantspoort plant is currently down due to Specon pipeline burst.
“All areas of supply will be affected and the estimated time for pipe repairs will be more than 7 hours,” it said.
The public is requested to continue using water sparingly until the situation is restored back to normal.
