[IN PICTURES] Limpopo Knights Braai Competition – round 8
Monday evening saw the last of the braai-offs before the semi-finals in the Limpopo Knights Braai Competition.
POLOKWANE – This week the contestants were Christo van den Heever and Adriaan Geldenhuys from Toyota Financial Services, MC Linde and his wife Karen and Gerhard Jacobs and his friend Joe Prinsloo.
The meat selection for this week’s braai was venison and the braaiers used their creativity to impress the judges (Marjorie Knoetze, Dirk Liebenberg and Christo Hildebrand) once again.

Joe and Gerhard were announced the winners with their springbok carpaccio with snails as a starter. Their main course was a stuffed fillet, vegetables and marmite and brie potbrood. As dessert they prepared a cheesecake on the fire.
During the semi-finals the contestants can decide what meat they will prepare for the judges with a potbrood, starter and dessert. The semi-finals will take place on Saturdays starting with Saturday, 2 September at the Polokwane Golf Club. It will start at 14:00 and everyone is invited to come and spend the day with the contestants.
