Police in Hoedspruit launch manhunt for highly wanted criminal

Parolee, 44-year-old, Collins Ditseo Moagi is wanted for three counts of attempted murder

LIMPOPO – Moagi is wanted for for a crime committed on 6 August 2017 at De-Oaks Taxi, near Hoeadpsruit CBD.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says Moagi was earlier convicted and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for an attempted murder in 2005 and was released on parole.

“He is also linked to a case of  possession of  an unlicensed firearm, which took place in 2009.”

Ngoepe says Moagi resides at Balloon village, in Sekororo, outside Tzaneen, but frequently visits Tembisa in Gauteng.

He is 1,8m tall, medium built and dark in complexion.

“Anyone who can assist with information which can lead to the arrest of this suspect is urged to contact SGT Kubayi on 071 602 0268; SGT Makola on 071 601 5174; the nearest police station; the crime stop number 0860010111 or the crime line sms 32211,” Ngoepe concluded.
