One woman killed after taxi overturns on R71 outside Polokwane

POLOKWANE – Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.

Ngoepe says the taxi, which was transporting 15 passengers, lost control after the right rear wheel burst, causing it to overturn.
“One woman was killed instantly and the 14 other passengers sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital for medical treatment,” he said.

Police investigations continue.
