Mbalula says the statistics enable government, parliament, civil society and people of South Africa to monitor key targets as set out in the Medium Term Strategic Framework (MTSF).
He says the statistics could also be utilized as early warnings to strengthen crime prevention operations and strategies of various departments in Government.
