[TAKE NOTE] Reservoir levels very low

Water reservoir levels are currently very low and residents are advised to use water sparingly to avoid shortages in the city, warns the Polokwane Municipality.

POLOKWANE –  A municipal statement reads as follows: “The reservoirs started showing rapid decline yesterday (Sunday, 5 November 2017) as a result of the hot conditions being currently experienced.”

“The watering of gardens has been identified as the biggest problem and residents are advised to use water strictly for domestic usage.”

“None adherence to this alert will lead to a water shortage in most areas within the city as well as Seshego and Mankweng.”

“Water conservation is everyone’s responsibility,” concludes the statement.
