“After a security sweep, only cars which were searched at the remote search park (which will be established at the Ring ball courts between Voortrekker and Dorp Streets) may enter,” a statement read.
Magazyn Street will be closed from the circle and a no traffic zone between the two basement entrances will be set up.
No access into the basement of the stadium will be allowed as from 06h00 tomorrow morning.
“Institutions leasing offices in the stadium and other staff members of the municipality must ensure that their offices are accessible for the SAPS to perform security checks and no person will be allowed to enter the facility afterwards due to security reasons.”
