MOKOPANE – This appeal was made by DA councillor, Yolande Coetzee. Coetzee said Lepelle Northern Water is working to resolve the problem and restore the water supply to the Mogalakwena Municipality as soon as possible.
She said Lepelle Northern Water stopped pumping water to the Mogalakwena Municipality at around 21:00 last night.
“This will cause some areas to have low water pressure or no water and we urge residents to use water sparingly and not to water gardens or wash vehicles until everything is back to normal,” Coetzee said.

Sy sê Lepelle Northern Water het gisteraand omtrent 21:00 die watertoevoer na Mogalakwena Munisipaliteit onderbreek.
“Hierdie onderbreking kan veroorsaak dat sekere areas lae druk of geen watertoevoer sal hê nie. Inwoners word gemaan om water spaarsamig te gebruik en om nie hul tuine nat te lei of hul voertuie te was nie totdat die probleem opgelos is,” sê Coetzee.
