Polokwane set to march against gender-based violence #TotalShutdown
Today 1 August, a day that marks the beginning of women's month, women will participate in a nationwide shutdown against gender-based violence.

POLOKWANE – The protest marches have been organised across all provinces and feminists and gender activists are calling on women and gender non-conforming (GNC) people to participate and to wear black with a touch of red to show solidarity.

Women in Polokwane will also form part of this mass action and will assemble at the SABC Park at 09:00 and march to the Office of the Premier.
Brothers, tomorrow, 1 August is the Intersectional Women’s March. Although you can’t join the march, there are ways in which you can support. See details below and remember: a woman’s body is NOT your crime scene. #TotalShutDown pic.twitter.com/B7a7fVinqx
