POLOKWANE – Stage 1 Loadshedding has been implemented by Eskom until 22:00 this evening. This, they say is to preserve emergency resources.
Eskom has advised residents to keep checking their loadshedding schedules on the Eskom website as well as the Municipality’s website.
“We continue to appeal to residents and businesses to use electricity sparingly during this period. Please switch off geysers as well as non essential lighting and electricity appliances to assist in reducing demand,” a statement read.
The Polokwane Municipality has confirmed that load shedding in the city has begun and they urge residents to check the loadshedding schedule on their website for specific times.
