POLOKWANE – Three doctors were shot and seriously injured during a house robbery at the Letaba Hospital’s doctors’ residence in the early hours of this morning.
Details are still sketchy at this point but it is believed that five heavily armed men gained access to the residence and robbed occupants of their belongings, shooting three doctors in the process.
The MEC for Health said one of the female doctors is in a critical condition and currently in surgery.
