Education stakeholders and guests were treated to delicious meals and great stage performances when Mitchell House celebrated its 25th anniversary last Wednesday.
It was learnt that the school, led by founding headmaster, Owen Thomas first opened its doors on 20 March 1994. The audience was entertained by learners who rendered different items on stage before dinner was served.
Headmaster Andrew Cook indicated that the night was a success and added that the guests had included the school’s second headmaster, Andrew Stead. He further said the festivities were great and that the local businessman John Kirkpatrick and his wife, Sue had donated a whole lamb to spice up the dinner.
Cook went on to thank everyone who made the gathering a success and also the guests for honouring the invitation.
