The learners at Share Joy Pre-School had an early taste of Easter when they were sent on an Easter egg hunt on the school grounds on Friday.
Learners were challenged to search for and collect as many eggs as possible. The hunt was won by Masobe Molepo who collected eight eggs. Reatlegile Makofane was the runner-up with six. Principal Josephine Kagori said the hunt was an opportunity for the learners to have some fun.
A day before the hunt learners were taken on a road trip to a farm outside the city where they fed the animals. Kagori indicated that the exercise was to afford children a chance to interact with nature, learn about different kinds of animals and know how to treat them.
She said the learners had loads of fun and also learnt a lot.
