Beat the winter skin blues, without causing a hole in your pocket

Kyle Lyle from Westenburg has the answer

POLOKWANE – How can you beat the winter skin blues, without causing a hole in your pocket? Kyle Lyle from Westenburg has the answer.

Natural, Kyle Lyle is all for organic.

“A lot of people have the perception that the most effective skincare products are expensive and sold at special cosmetic stores, but this is not entirely true. Coconut or rosemary oils we use to cook with, can be used for your skin.

The good thing is they are not modified. The fats you feed to nourish your body with, is the same you will give your skin and it will show,” he explained.

Kyle developed a non-organic skincare range called Kyle Lyle’s Naturals which include oils for the beard, body butters, conditioners and shampoos.

Kyle says his products are filled with nothing but the best oils for the skin and hair. He gave BONUS readers a few pointers on how to ensure their favourite skincare products provide their skin with the correct and sufficient nourishment, which will lead to healthy looking skin.

• Olive oil can be used to add moisture to your body lotion. “It can also be used for hair, as a base to help ensure the scalp is not dry and hair is moisturised,” he added.
• Coconut oil mixed with brown sugar works as a scrub for dry skin, to help remove dead skin cells, in preparation for new and healthier looking skin to develop.
• Rosemary oils, almond oils and even bought glycerine oils can be used to mix with lotions or used on their own, to apply directly onto the skin to serve as skin base to help with moisture.

“Sunscreen is also very important, as the winter sun can be very harsh on skin and may result in damaged skin. It looks unhealthy and improperly cared for. Remember to drink as much water as you can, because water is life,” he concluded.
