Newly appointed MEC of Transport and Community Safety Dickson Masemola is adamant that crime cannot properly be addressed if multi-stakeholder mobilisation and participation does not occur.

POLOKWANE – Newly appointed MEC of Transport and Community Safety Dickson Masemola is adamant that crime cannot properly be addressed if multi-stakeholder mobilisation and participation does not occur. He added that said civilians are among the pillars to prevent crime.

The abuse of women and children is an issue he intends to address strongly, as is safety on farms and addressing the road accident fatalities on the N1 and in the province as a whole.
“I will not be sitting in my office every day, I will be out there, working in the community,” he said.
