Mild temperatures expected in Polokwane this week, weekend to heat up

Sunday will be the warmest day of the week at 30 degrees with sunny skies

POLOKWANE – As spring draws closer and closer, you might be thinking of swopping jackets for t-shirts but don’t do that just yet. While temperatures are expected to heat up over the weekend, there will still be a chill in the air for the rest of the week, according to the South African Weather Service’s forecast.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid to low twenties from Monday through to Thursday with a maximum of 24 and a low of 22. Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions have been forecast on Tuesday and Wednesday, however, no rain has been forecast.

Sunny conditions will remain for the rest of the week with Sunday being the warmest day at 30 degrees. Minimum temperatures will peak at 10 degrees on Monday and cool down to five degrees on Friday and Saturday.

People’s Weather’s forecast suggests a similar pattern with mild temperatures and a warmer weekend.

Temperatures will cool down to 21 degrees on Tuesday and peak at 27 degrees on Sunday. Sunny conditions are also expected for the rest of the week except for Wednesday which will be partly cloudy.
