Victoria ‘fits’ the USN Face of Fitness mould

Victoria Coetzee is a firm believer of move in a way that you love, and love the way that you move.

POLOKWANE – She also believes that consistency is key. According to her, living a healthy lifestyle and attaining your goals is not a sprint but a marathon, with a lot of learning curves, self-love and small breaks along the way.
Victoria recently entered the USN Face of Fitness competition and shared her story with Review.

“I became aware of the competition last year, but at that stage my daughter was only one year old. I was not ready to commit to anything else at that stage, so I focused on growing my business and focusing on my health instead. I discovered my passion for health and fitness as well as helping people along their health journey and created the Facebook and Instagram accounts, Fitspire, where I share my take on nutrition and fitness.”

Earlier this year, a friend of Victoria tagged her in a post which said that the entries for USN Face of Fitness 2019 were open and she decided to go for it. “My love of fitness and compassion for people who are doing their best to become better, stronger and healthier is what drives my passion. Watching them flourish on their journey is what inspires me to do more.”

She had to submit two photos and a video to enter. Voting is open to the public and closes on 13 September. Vote for her by visiting www.faceoffitness.co.za/victoria-coetzee/. From these votes, the top 12 will be announced on 16 September. Thereafter an interview with USN and Fitness Magazine will take place and the top 3 will be chosen. The top three will each appear on a cover of Fitness Magazine as well as a variety of prizes.

Victoria believes there is no expiry date on fitness and health and her goal is to keep pushing every day and to find new and unique ways to grow. “I am training for life, to be stronger, faster, better than I was before, striving to be my best for me.”

She plans to create a career for herself in the fitness and health industry. Victoria wants to grow with the USN brand, both locally and internationally, as health and fitness is where her passion lies.

“I think I’m the ideal candidate to become the USN face of fitness, because just like the USN brand, I am authentic, driven, a forward-thinker, out-going, energetic and relatable. To balance everything does not require talent or being extraordinary, it starts with a decision to live a better life and put yourself first. I want to teach people that they can have it all, it just takes prioritising, the right nutrition, quality supplementation and a solid workout plan.”

Victoria is not only a fitness junky but also a wife and mother to a two-year-old daughter and the owner of a digital marketing agency.

“My free time is spent either in nature with my family or working on new and exciting content for Fitspire.”
