POLOKWANE – Thabo Mbeki Street has been cleared and is now open for traffic
POLOKWANE – Eyewitnesses told Review that a speeding police vehicle was the cause of a multi-vehicle crash on Thabo Mbeki Street this morning.
“One minute I was sitting in traffic, the next I had another car crash into me from the back and I was crashing into the car in front of me,” a motorist who was involved said. “It was the police vehicle, it was speeding. It crashed into one of the vehicles from behind and caused a ripple effect,” she added.
Nine vehicles were involved in the crash including three minibuses and six sedans. No injuries were reported at the time of the collision but an official accident report will verify whether there were or not.
