POLOKWANE – Residents in the city can expect milder temperatures this week, according to the South African Weather Service’s forecast.
After almost three weeks of hot temperatures and two heatwaves, this week will be a lot more comfortable in terms of temperature.
According to the forecast, temperatures will remain in the high twenties and low thirties for the rest of the week with Thursday and Friday peaking at 33 degrees and Tuesday reaching 28 degrees.
While partly cloudy conditions are expected, sunny conditions will remain for the rest of the week. The weather service has also hinted at a chance of rain for Saturday as well as Friday.
People’s Weather’s forecast also suggests a mild week in terms of temperatures with Thursday peaking at 34 degrees and Saturday ‘cooling’ down to 25 degrees.
Thunderstorms are also forecast for Saturday and Sunday and partly cloudy conditions are expected for the rest of the week.
