The month of love, February, also has Valentines Day, the one day in the year where most people go out and splurge money on their loved ones. Some might tell you that everyday is Valentines Day, but what they do not know is that roses received on V-day smell a lot sweeter and chocolates melt in your mouth a lot quicker.

Tony Naudé: I do not do anything special on Valentines Day. In fact, my other half is spoilt as much as I can on a daily basis without needing to spend inflated prices. I also prefer not receiving any Valentines Day gifts.
Wikus Pansegrouw: I use Valentines Day to cook a proper meal and spoil my girlfriend with a gift or two. I do not expect anything back.
Theophillus Manaka: No I don’t expect treats. Men always put effort in making their women feel more loved and appreciated.
Ronald Leach: I put great effort into it, my wife’s colleagues needs to be jealous. I just expect some tender loving care (TLC) in return.
Andries de Beer: I do not expect any treats for Valentines Day, but since effort is part of the whole day, I put in effort. Effort towards your relationship is suppose to be an everyday thing.
