Good news if you want to renew vehicle licence
There are seven branches of the South African Post Office in the city where you can now renew your licence.

POLOKWANE – The South African Post Office has good news for motorists and fleet owners whose vehicle licences expired during the lockdown. Motor vehicle licensing is once again available at all post offices that offer the service.
To renew your licence, you will need your ID, and both cash and card payments will be accepted.
In Polokwane the following post offices will assist you:
• Bendor Park.
• Fauna Park.
• Ladanna.
• Polokwane main branch.
• Polokwane North.
• Seshego.
• Westenburg.
Due to Sassa payments being done from the fourth to the seventh of every month, customers are advised not to go for the renewals on these days.
“Another date to avoid is the 21st of every month. Vehicle owners receive 21 days grace after the expiry of their car licences, and post offices find that customers flock to the branches on this day to renew at the last minute,” Johan Kruger, Communications Officer, explains.
“Most branches that offer renewal services offer a bulk renewal service for fleet owners. Please enquire with your local branch,” Kruger added. Car licencing is available in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Free State, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, North West and Limpopo.
Motorists who did not receive a renewal notice can download the form from the Post Office website and complete it in advance to save time.
