Local influencer chosen as Miss Teen SA mentor
The local philanthropist believes through confidence and empowerment, girls can bring change to their communities.

LIMPOPO – Local philanthropist, Sally Sithole is placing Limpopo on the map, having been chosen as an official mentor for the Miss Teenager South Africa (MTSA) pageant.
The radio personality, entrepreneur and brand ambassador for various brands, told Review she “aspires to inspire before I expire” and explained that the role is one of the most important elements of the competition.
MTSA mentors were selected and announced for eight of the nine provinces and they will be tasked with mentoring 10 girls each. The pageant, she says, focuses on empowering young girls to believe that through confidence and empowerment, they have the ability to make a positive change in their communities, ultimately reaching the national and global stage.
Sally explained that this year’s theme is #MTSANALEDI. “Naledi is a Sotho name which means ‘star,’ and we believe each participant is a star in their own right,” she said.
Sally is expected to have three sessions with her group, giving her the freedom to design the sessions to her liking. “I will have to cover topics such as ramp skills, interview skills, guidance on wardrobe, and etiquette and I will also walk on stage during the finale as part of an appreciation walk.”
She added that she is grateful to have been chosen to represent her province and her message to others is to maximise your full potential, and serve.
The pageant is set to take place from 11 to 13 December.
