Sapa Yopa gears up for 11th rally
The annual rally attracts bikers from neighbouring countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Mozambique to join in the initiative of promoting social cohesion and embarking on charity initiatives to better the lives of the less fortunate.
POLOKWANE – Africa’s biggest motorcycle club, Sapa Yopa, are geared for the 11th annual Sapa Yopa Rally.
The club expects 500 bikers to flock to Polokwane, a much smaller crowd than usual, due to current Covid-19 regulations.
Despite a smaller group of bikers, the event is still expected to be a roaring success when they rev their engines and welcome bikers from various provinces on Friday, 4 December.
The bikers will gather at Waterland on Saturday before they embark on a mass-ride throughout the city on their way to the Charity Picnic at Nape Global in Seshego Zone 4.
The club will wrap things up on Sunday with a Soul Session.

Artists such as Lamiez Holworthy, DJ Cappuccino, Nastic Groove, AH Jidda, Silly T, Doza, DJ Q-Scotch, King Bash and DJ Charmza will provide the entertainment.
Comedian Mashabela will be the master of ceremonies for the event and Sapa Yopa President, Thabisile ‘Tilly the Great’ Buthelezi, says strict Covid-19 measures will be observed.
“No mask, no entry,” she said.
Tickets are available at Waterland at R100 for a weekend pass.
