UPDATE: Six people killed in horror multi-vehicle crash in Mokopane CBD

Four pedestrians and two others died after a truck crashed into several vehicles and A building in the main street of Mokopane on Wednesday evening.

LIMPOPO – Emergency services personnel are currently at the scene of a fire in Thabo Mbeki Street in Mokopane, where a building caught fire after a truck slammed into it.

According to sources, three more vehicles were involved in the incident and it could not immediately be established if any fatalities had occurred.

One of the vehicles was completely engulfed in flames.

Review spoke to the Transport an Community Safety’s Media Liaison Officer, Mike Maringa, who confirmed the incident and said officials from the department are at the scene.
