An investigation into whether or not the firearms were kept in accordance with the provisions governing the safe keeping of firearms, has also been launched

POLOKWANE – A case of business robbery has been opened by the police in Polokwane, following a robbery at a security company in the city.

He said police are also investigating whether or not these firearms were kept in accordance with the provisions governing the safe keeping of firearms.

The Acting Provincial Police Commissioner, Maj Gen Jan Scheepers, has expressed his displeasure on this incident. “As we continue to fight against violent crimes perpetrated through firearms, we cannot afford to have these firearms landing up in the wrong hands,” added Scheepers.
