JUST IN: Westenburg teenager drowns in river
Police and emergency medical personnel are still on the scene of a drowning in Westenburg.

POLOKWANE – Police have confirmed the drowning of a teenage boy in a river in Westenburg earlier this afternoon.
The boy’s body has since been recovered from the river and Westenburg Police Station Commander, Maimele Pilusa said an inquest docket will be registered.
He added that the deceased was accompanied by friends when he reportedly fell into the water.
