Polokwane in for a wet weekend?

Polokwane is among the areas under a Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rain, issued by the South African Weather Service.

According to the South African Weather Service, Polokwane can expect lots of rain over the weekend.

Central and southern parts of Limpopo have been placed under a yellow level two warning for disruptive rainfall for today.

“Disruptive rainfall may lead to localised flooding of susceptible roads and already vulnerable low lying areas and bridges, as well as poor driving conditions, which is expected over Gauteng, eastern parts of the North West, in places of Mpumalanga and the central and southern parts of Limpopo,” a statement reads.

The weather service’s regional forecast says the province will be “cloudy and warm with widespread showers and thundershowers but isolated to scattered in the north”.
