Pick up a bunch of love
Roses are red, violets are blue and sisters Katlego and Thato Shiloti have just the right flowers for you.
POLOKWANE – The Shiloti-sisters are the founders of She Loves Me Flowers – a flower service in Polokwane which brings joy to their clients.
Katlego explained the creative name: “We decided to play around with words, however, we wanted the name to speak to people, more especially females because we know flowers and diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”
They explained that the decision to become florists was a spur of the moment one. They drove past a rose farm and decided to stop and get a bunch.
Two weeks later they were still alive and fresh and the thought struck them to start a flower service in Polokwane.
“We knew nothing about flowers or flower arrangements until we started this business in June last year,” explained Katlego.
Thato said their business fulfills them because it allows them to witness love and happiness. They ignite relationships and friendships with the flowers.
“It is also amazing how we break barriers of distance between loved ones with our delivery services and the way we execute our deliveries. We do not just deliver flowers, we deliver an experience. You could be in Cape Town or Dubai, but you will feel like you were present in that moment your loved one received their gift from a different province or country. That is how personal our deliveries are,” Thato added.
