[WATCH] “We are not out of the woods, yet” – Health MEC

Limpopo Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba reiterated her concern about the decline in terms of the number of people who have not been vaccinated saying that their lives are still in danger.

POLOKWANE –   The Limpopo MEC for Health, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, urged people to get the jab, warning that the decline in Covid-19 infections and hospitalisation numbers doesn’t mean that we are out of the woods. “The reason why the numbers are low and people are not getting sick is because many people have been vaccinated. If you are out there and have not gotten the vaccine, you must know that your life is still at risk,” she said.

Ramathuba spoke about the Covid-19 booster shot and explained when they should get the shot and why.

The MEC accompanied the Premier Chupu Mathabatha, on Wednesday morning (February 2) at the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital when received his Covid-19 booster shot.
