Fhulufhelo Ramaru is the owner of Skin Glow and Tosss Frangrances and specialises in perfume, cologne, car fragrances and diffusers.
LIMPOPO – Fhulufhelo Sharon Ramaru from Tshikudini village, is a 33-year-old single mother and the proud founder of Skin Glow and Tosss Fragrances.
“A friend of mine, who supplies toiletries to hotels and lodges, advised me to start a line of fragrances and supply these to them too. Today, I supply many hotels and lodges around Vhembe and the Capricorn districts,” said Ramaru.
She started the brand in 2020, specialising in perfume, cologne, car fragrances, diffusers and house braise.
Her dream is to own a cosmetic franchise where she will be able to create more jobs for the people of Vhembe.
“As young people we don’t have to wait for the government to provide us with jobs. We must wake up and create jobs for ourselves. Sitting at home and begging someone to become your employer is a waste of time. We have the power to change our lives,” she explained.
She also believes in giving. In 2020 she donated 200 blankets to homeless people in Gauteng; in 2021 she donated sanitary towels to primary and secondary schools, and a non-profit organisation.
