Muni: Water supply low due to two pipe bursts

Water tankers have been deployed to provide temporary relief.

POLOKWANE – Water tankers have been deployed to provide “temporary relief” to residents in Sterpark and some parts of Bendor.

Municipal spokesperson Thipa Selala said in a statement that water supply to these areas is low as a result of two pipe bursts on the line that supplies these areas.

“The municipality’s team is currently repairing the pipes and supply will be restored within an estimated six hours. We will provide regular updates in terms of progress,” he explained.

Selala urged those who experience water supply challenges, to report it to the Water and Sanitation Call Centre on 015 290 2376.
