Get creative and festive with your nails this Christmas

Nail technician Claudia Dube said Christmas is the best time to get creative and play around with different colours on your nails.

POLOKWANE – Nail technician Claudia Dube said there is no wrong way to do Christmas nail art, but that if one is having a hard time deciding on what manicure to get this festive season, she can definitely assist.

The Polokwane-based nail technician said Christmas is the best time to get creative and play around with colours.

“You don’t have to work with red, white and greens and stick to stereotypical Christmas colours only,” she advised.

She shared nail art ideas one can do at home:

• Crystal nail art in silver or white – These nails can match with practically any outfit because of the bling effect that pops out, especially in the sun.

• Red nails with sealed in sequins or design – You can match this with black and white tones and nothing says Christmas-time glam quite like red lips and red nails.

• Royal or emerald green nails – your emerald or royal greens are obviously the most Christmassy because they sparkle. Try the metallic version that will give hue alternates with a darker, glossy green shade.

• Red or white nails with Christmas designs – These designs are for people that love to be playful, fun and creative. Make sure you visit your nearest nail technician if you want a perfect nail design art. When you visit the salon, you have the advantage of choosing any shape or pattern you prefer.
